Zoom needsmoresalt: Today’s book club was so great! We had this tomato and corn pie, Atticus garlic ciabatta (thanks to Z), pesto potato salad, an Ottolenghi cucumber and poppy seed salad, Americanos and M’s rosé, this cornmeal cake studded with apricots, this fennel ice cream, both E’s (spicier, sweeter) and my (dillier) pickled carrots, and a side of Jeffrey Eugenides. Amazing meal, I am glad it was recorded for posterity.  My goal in life is (apparently!) to find ways to weasel my way inside people’s food Tumblrs.  It’s like stepping inside the frame of a painting (but in a fun Mary Poppins way, not a horrific The Witches way).
